After trialling a dozen Picasa plugins, I found Adam Brown’s KB Easy PicasaWeb Wordpress plugin to be the most elegant solution and easiest to implement. However, the key feature I required was Lightbox/Slimbox support. After a short crash course in PHP, Wordpress plugin API and the Picasa API, I somehow managed to get it working.
